The Blackberry Bush offers a warm, caring environment with qualified, experienced staff who will ensure your child's time with Bush Babies is happy and beneficial.

Situated on the outskirts of Countesthorpe we have three large rooms offering fun and adventure to children from birth to 5 years. Your child will have a dedicated Key Worker to guarantee excellent care and continuity during their time with us. Our Baby Room is called “Snow Whites”.

In this bright, spacious room, babies from 0-18 months will be given lots of opportunities to explore and be stimulated through activities in a happy and relaxed atmosphere. Down the hall you will find Sneezy's room for children aged 18 months to 2+ years. This room offers opportunities to explore music, role play,a sensory corner and lots,
lots more.

Next door is “Happy's” a bright and cosy room for children 2+ to pre-school to have fun. Here they work towards Birth to Three Matters and the Foundation Stage. There is a wide selection of toys and equipment to encourage interaction and communication. The atmosphere is relaxed and happy. We have a smaller room adjacent to the main room for smaller working groups where the children can use the computer and enjoy the reading and phonics schemes. Here they can develop new skills to ensure their transition to school is a pleasant and easy one.

We pride ourselves on building excellent relationships between staff, children and parents to ensure that your child's individual needs are fully met. We have separate outdoor play areas for the baby room children, which has a play house, and one for the older children with playground equipment.

Within walking distance we are able to visit the local park, a beautiful garden centre and the church where we hold visits at Xmas.
